1 cup/ 8oz butter
2 1/4 cup sugar
1 1/4 cup cocoa powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
1 tbsp vanilla extract
4 large eggs
1 1/2 cups flour
2 cups pecan pieces
1. In a large bowl mix sugar and melted butter together
2. Add eggs and beat together with a whisk
3. Sieve cocoa powder, baking powder, flour and salt together and add to wet ingredients
4. Add vanilla extract and pecan pieces and stir into batter
5. Pour into greased tin smooth surface with spatula
6. Bake in preheated oven at 350˚F for 25- 30 mins
7. Remove from oven and let cool before cutting into squares
