2oz butter
3oz golden brown sugar
2 tbsp honey
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
1 tbsp liquid smoke
1 cup ketchup
1 tsp Cajun seasoning
1 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
1 tbsp chilie d'arbol paste (made from dried chile d'arbol that have been soaked and pureed)


1. Melt butter in small sauce pan over a low heat and add brown sugar, stir together
2. Add the rest of the ingredients and combine together, bring to a gentle simmer and cook for 7-8 minutes
3. Remove from heat and serve hot or cold
4. If not using immediately, store in airtight container and refrigerate
