1 x 8 oz ball pizza dough (see pizza dough recipe)

1 ball fresh mozzarella

1/4 semolina flour or corn meal

2 tbsp tomato sauce

5 fresh basil leaves

Sea salt

Extra virgin olive oil



 


1. Preheat oven to 500˚F, if you have a pizza stone place in oven to preheat

2. Dust work surface with semolina flour

3. Stretch out pizza dough until the dough is very thin and circular shape

4. Place dough on pizza peel and spread with tomato sauce

5. Par bake pizza in the oven for 3 minutes or until the bottom of the pizza crust is crisp and golden

6. Remove pizza from oven and place sliced mozzarella cheese on top

7. Return to oven and cook until pizza crust is crispy and the cheese is just starting to melt

8. Remove from oven, tear basil leaves and scatter over pizza

9. Drizzle with olive oil, slice and serve immediately
